what the????

My last post was December??? I suppose I have been very busy lets go for a monthly wrap
January:
 Stretch passed away, he had cancer and I think he handled it all well.
Shock of the year Nigel passed away, even now Dave has not gotten over this it has really hit him hard, Poor Debbie and the kids. No words can describe it.
Sarahs wedding- two funerals and a wedding in two days. I made the dress and as I always do I left the dress to the last minute it went together perfectly she looked lovely, unfortunatly with the funerals there was not as much beading as was planned.
Mum is in hospital after breaking her hip in a fall
February:
What happened in February? not sure
March:
Had a Flaschengeist party, the most beautiful liqueurs and oils what a great party plan
Dave finally decided to do something about his sore shoulder, muscle tear only one bit of muscle there
April:
Well we went to the surgeon about his shoulder and Dave hated him instantly well maybe not instantly it took a few words, you have to give up smoking, were the words and Daves blinkers and ear muffs went on How dare he tell me I have to give up!!!
My birthday, well my inlaws sent me lovely cards and lotteries, they didn't win though, Grant sent me a bottle of wine and a voucher for flowers, my other two? zilch, not even happy birthday till late late late, Dave bought me a Louis Vuiton bag and thats it for the year apparently, But I got a lovely arrangement of flowers from, Olga at work and choccies, to say I was surprised would be an understatement, they were gorgeous.
May:
Well Mothers Day was a bit of a downer, I am not Daves mum and so he does nothing But he didn't ring his mum till late so he is a bad son, like mine. I got a text from Grant, Brad couldn't work the day before because he had to get my present , still haven't got it. I know I shouldn't just be thinking of presents but just the fact that they ignored me hurts a lot and I am a bit depressed by it

Honestlty the year is flying by.....
It's almost time for Greenwell point weekend away, I need a break it's a shame the people I need a break from will be there haha.
Last month I went in my first fundraiser walk for Alzheimers it was a lovely hot day I got a lot of photos on the route.
We have a dress pattern for sarah's dress I just have to have a week off to get a rough copy made

Organised Housewife Rules

 Well I have been following the organised housewife and her 20 days to clean your home, I am days late but getting there. Yesterday I cleaned the kitchen, the first two photos are before, I didn't get a before of under the sink But I am happy with the after. The OH used baskets for her cleaning stuff and under sink mess but I have used recycled meat trays. I am very happy and I also organised the recipe magazines ripping out the recipes I wanted from last years magazines and filing them. Well done Lianne.

Spring is here

Well it is spring, a beautiful start to the day as well.
I woke up bright and early at 5 am on my day off how dumb but I got the washing machine going early so it's all good.
Today I have to get my nails done
get Dave a fathers day present
take the computer to get the old hard drive installed as storage
clean the house
go to Office works to get the things I need for the organised housewife's 20 days to organise and clean your home challenge
get my book ready for Shimmel's learn something new everyday class
get Sarah and Brett's invitations organised
go grocery shopping
go to Ray and Vina's for her farewell party
go to Spotlight to get some tapestry threads
finish the culture assignment sometime
mmmm maybe another coffee and a bit of raisin toast first

August already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

where is the year gone???/

We have accreditation at work next week so we have been busy bees getting things done and up to scratch. I vow I will not let things pile up anymore the last few weeks have been hectic with all the extra paperwork but it is done... phew.
The new brochures for the centre are out and I have my head in two pics hehe.

apart from that not much has happened, we went to Diannes 30th last weekend and had a ball, the band was great and I danced all night, I could hardly walk the next morning I suppose old age had caught me yuk. It was a great night, beer and pizza yummmm.
Back to the walk the walk challenge next week, I have lost 1 kilo so I am happy.
