Millwa has the mustard factory, closed at 8 in the morning.
Allans Flat has a strawberry shop.
Yackandandah has 5 kilometres of bunting through the park and main street.]
Holbrook has a submarine
Ettomagah doesn't have a pub anymore
Albury has a good Rivers Shop

end of year wrap up
Christmas is over thank goodness, it was a disaster with the grand kids, I didn't even take a photo!
Max did not like his present and cried and cried, I told him his mother said he wanted the city police lego but apparently he didn't. Joel din't like the lollies I had they were too sweet! WTF!!! but they ate them all so they were nicely full of sugar to see Renee's grandparents I hope it went better there.
Next Christmas I will call Max and ask him what he wants cause two years in a row he hasn't been happy with me. Can I see a pattern? is she trying to sabotage my one day of the year that they visit for an hour?
I was so disappointed I couldn't wait for them to leave. It was the first time I had seen them all year they were going to call in a few times but didn't for whatever reasons and now that Grant and Renee have split I think I will see them even less. Never mind
Christmas Day was hectic as always getting food cooked in time to take it to Sarah's Brett's step sister had to go to work so the food needed to be there it was raining, and we were running late. Never mind it got there and was good
I took some pics of the Fuschias with the macro setting they came out very nice indeed

catch up time!
well it has warmed up here , it has been a while since I posted, was I busy or lazy? bit of both actually.
We had a great Melbourne Cup Day at work, we blinged it up and the clients hatted up and we had a good time.
I am hoping to get my sewing machine off layby this week if my beloved hubby will lend me some money until payday. I have a flexi on Friday and would love to play with it.
I made some things for work last week, horses on sticks stuck in dog food cans by plaster of paris. I will have to take a pic they look better than they sound.
I haven't had time for hexies but I am still crocheting my flower and rug.
This weeks menu
Sunday Seafood Vol Au Vents
Monday homemade Pie and chips
Tuesday Pork stek with 5 spice and plum
Wednesday Beef Stroganoff and rice
Thursday Chicken Parmi and veg
Friday Salmon and fried rice
Saturday going out

weekend away
We had a great time at Greenwell Point last weekend. The weather could have been better the wind was so cold I was so proud of myself getting all my clothes in one bag!!!!!! but then I needed a long sleeve shirt and a lighter jacket , never mind. I think I need to get a couple of cardigans. The company on the weekend was great and a good time was had by all.
I don't have a menu plan for this week its fly by the seat of your pants time.
Last night I made Cauliflower pilaf with Pork steak and pakchoy in hoi sin sauce yummo.
Tonight might be chicken
I have been doing my hexagons and crocheting flowery cushion at home I am hoping to get my sewing machinethis week, I have spent too much at parties in the last couple of weeks so I think my pay is all gone
The pics below are the gorgeous lorikeet I saw in the tree out the back, Shane and Brad taking happy faces LOLthe hungry Pelicans the beautiful sunrises the tree where every morning the cockatoos fly from the island to this tree, the funny little duck chasing the other birds.
